  8. sande74 (verified owner)

Received mine, works great. Very easy assembly and very strong. One small tip, perhaps include a cover cap for the aluminum frame. My GT1-Evo had a lot of spare materials however just not this specific cover cap.

    • Richard Schouteren

Thanks! Those should be included. Please contact us at the info address!

Very happy with this mount on my GT1 Evo. It is very sturdy.
Only problem was that with my 27 inch the hdmi end up under the vesa mount and doesnt have enough clearance with the included standoffs. An angled hdmi solved that.
    Overall very pleased

Can this be used to mount a TV on the rig ?

Hi Richard, last question about monitor mounts! Previoulsy on the integrated monitor mount i wanted to mount the PC behind the monitor (you said this would work :)), but would the same concept work with this monitor mount instead? I.e. Sim shelf with PC on behind the monitor? or is it too close?

    • Richard Schouteren

      Hi doesnt work!

  12. Andy D

Hi – will this still work with a sim shelf mounted behind the screen/with PC on it?

    • Richard Schouteren

Sorry that’s not going to work!

It’s a rock solid mount. It can be kinda cumbersome to install it. It’s preferably to do it with two people, but there’s a trick to do it on your own. It really works well. However, I can’t describe it and it’s better with pictures. Perhaps I should send Simlabs an ‘how-to’.

Another issue is that the plate can have interference with monitors that has ports and cables pointed horizontal. Now my DP port is blocked. Luckily HMDI 2.0 also supports 3440×1440 100hz. I would suggest to use this mount only if your ports and cables are pointing downwards.

Perhaps there could be an option to only select 100×100 vesa plate, because I bet that’s the most used Vesa on the rig, anyway. So it won’t block horizontal ports.

Last issues are that the two other plates can be easily scratched if you tighten the screws and/or when want to rearrange your mount it’s becomes visible. If your monitor is kinda heavy and you want to rearrange you’ve to unscrew/loosen the four bolts which can be a bit troublesome cause sometimes the bolts have a tad of homesickness and won’t move or barely move.

After all. Good mount when you install everything perfectly. Assemble, forget and race.

Will this be able to get the Samsung LG49HG90 behind the wheel base? Knowing it has a extra overlap because the vesa connection, I could measure this myself but then i will need dimensions of the item.

    • Richard Schouteren

      Yes this will work!

  23. Maniuel Vasconcelos

Hey, my monitor is 49 ” but the vesa is 75×75 will be working in this mount screen? thanks

  24. Wojciech

Would it be possible to put the monitor closer to the wheel rim above the motor with some additional parts? Would that introduce a wobble?

  25. Guillaume Lakah

Hi, what is the width between the two vertical screws in cms? I have a JCL rig with double aluminium bars and I would like to use your mount on my rig. Thanks !!

    • Richard Schouteren

      520 mm width!

  26. bruno

can you easily adjust the screen height? or would that require loosing screws etc?

    • Richard Schouteren

Yes you can easily adjust it by loosening 2 bolts.

  27. Thomas Roth (verified owner)

It is a very sturdy screen mount. It was ok to mount my 27″ screen on my own, upgrading it to the Samsung 49″ definitely makes this a two man job. Spacers were included, yet I found the screws meant to screw through the plate into the spacers to be too long. I used the screws from the stand of my monitor then instead.
I find the 40×80 bar could be a few inches longer. Depending on the VESA location of your screen you run out of height very quickly. My old Fujitsu 1080p (placeholder until 49″ Samsung arrives) has the VESA plate all the way at the top leaving just 2cm to the crossbar of the wheel deck.
If you want to use it with the Fanatec Podium mount by mounting the then obsolete cross bar below it, you definitely need to order a new 40×80 being 10cm longer to make it work.

  28. Carlos

Does it includes the stuff to attach it to the cockpit? Or I need to buy them separately?

    • Richard Schouteren

      Its included

  29. Giuseppe

Hi is it possible to have the measurements? how much can you lift the monitor? how high is the aluminum profile?

    • Richard Schouteren

      The uprights are 580mm long.

  30. Jean Phillip

Hey! Which is the size of screws it uses?

    • Richard Schouteren
